Your Rights Under Consumer Guarantees Act

Under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have automatic rights when purchasing goods. Our products must be:

If a product doesn't meet these guarantees, you're entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, or refund. These rights cannot be excluded and are in addition to our voluntary return policy below.

Voluntary Return Policy

At shogvaxxchxli, we want you to be completely satisfied with your textile purchases. In addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we offer a voluntary 14-day return policy for change of mind. You may return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items must be in their original condition, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at reach@shogvaxxchxli.world or through our contact page. Provide your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorisation. Please do not send items back without authorisation, as we cannot process unauthorised returns.

Return Shipping

For change of mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, if the item received was defective, incorrect, or doesn't meet the Consumer Guarantees Act standards, we will cover the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed. Please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, if a product is faulty, you're entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items for different sizes, colours, or styles, subject to availability. Exchanges follow the same return process. If the exchange item has a different price, we will process the appropriate refund or charge for the difference.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom or personalised textile items, items that have been used or washed, and items without original packaging may not be eligible for our voluntary change of mind return policy. However, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act still apply if items are faulty or don't meet acceptable quality standards. Final sale items are also non-returnable under our voluntary policy.
